shuffle with usb drive

I can't get my sony sync system to shuffle more than one song when I use a usb flash drive.  It's on a 2013 SHO.  Does anyone have a fix?

What capacity USB do you have? I believe there's a limitation to the capacity.

I have a '13 and use a 32gb usb drive but do not have any problem with it shuffling almost 1200 songs.  I think there's a way to do a sync system reset.  Might be worth a try if that can be done.

Also, formatted to FAT32?  Music in folders or same folder/root drive?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Fat32 and all music is on the root.  I checked for sync updates last month when I noticed this issue and it was up to date.  There is now an update but I haven't had time to check if that fixed the issue.
