Got the ovals on today.  The guy did a beautiful job on them.  The only problem I have is getting them to stick around the edges.  They wrap around a little.  Maybe some heat and more adhesive.

Now if I could just get my plates on!

Unless you know how to put these on like an expert, I would suggest you don't try.  The edges of the Ford emblem roll over and it was impossible , for me anyway, to get the edges to stick.  I am really disappointed.  They are beautiful works of art and I can't make them work.  Somebody probably can.  I just can't.

EDIT-  I'm gonna try the flat vinyl stickers!

EDIT-  This guy is great!  He is going to make me vinyl stickers for shipping and materials!

In the pictures they look sharp!  Sorry to hear you're not happy with the final result.  What are they made of...I thought they were vinyl.

I believe he had domed ones which means they wont "bend" around edges.

I didn't want to point it out--but it was a bad move. You never use domed emblems because most of the Ford ovals have an arch to them and dome is really just a hard plastic over vinyl--thus it will not sit right.

Right.  Thanks for warning me.   :bangin:  They are thick, made of gel.  They would have worked fine except that darn last 1/8" around the edge.  I just couldn't get it to stick.  The vinyls are on their way and will get a few coats of wax.  They won't look as good as the deep 3D like gel but I think they'll be okay.  From 10' you would know the difference. BTW, for the wheels, the gels worked perfectly.
