12.689@108.43

Great runs!

Real solid R/T's also. There's more in her with those 60' times...keep up the good work.

There's definitely more in it.  Kept spinning as you can hear....brought fronts down 30, but left the rears alone.  Looking back, I should've brought both down..with the fronts even more.

To put things in perspective, last year, Oct. 31st, I ran 13.089@104.43 on a 1.872 60' with the same tune, a few gallons of GT260 for protection against knock and a K&N panel filter in -658 DA on Primacy MXM4's.

This time around, added the intake, exhaust, ethanol blend and a bit of race gas in 381 DA...also running Pilot Sport AS/3's which are amazing in general and fresh set of plugs @.030.

As it gets cooler out I've had to drop the pressure down to 22 in the fronts

so that's the secret to your sweet 60' times.
As it got cooler out I've had to go lower...last time out I started at 22 and had great success with a 1.75 for 60'.

I imagine each tire will be slightly different, but I think that's the sweet spot for me.

Regret not lowering tire pressures even more, looking back.  Your 1.75 is amazing.

Thank you.

After watching the video again...it looks like you lined up just outside the "grooves" on that run.

Nice run! So no down pipes? Did you tune for the E85 or just add a couple gallons? Also, what was the story on the caddy next to you, ran a nice time and looked like it had slicks on the back? Keep up the good work!

No downpipes....thinking of getting the PPE catted ones from EcoPower Parts.

As for E85, yes, but I try to keep the mix anywhere from 15-17%.  I use this:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kennethnissel.e85 to calculate the mixture based on the fuel level gauge in Torque Pro.  Make sure the car is level and wait a bit until the fuel stops moving around then work off that percentage.

My buddy with a CTS-V (that ran a 10.29@136..no meth or spray) had unleaded race gas and offered to put a little in....I was like why not, can't hurt.

They were messing with the tune I believe on that V3 and obviously something went wrong.  Believe me, that car is quick. Was running low 11's that day with traps as high as 124 or so.  Slicks/drag radial guys run on the right side and street tire cars on the left.  It's usually how the rental works out at this track because the guys pay for extra prep on the right lane.

Thanks for the info! So to clarify is the tune customized for the E? I thought that was a CTS-V. Just making sure it wasn't one of those new 2.0 turbos. 10.29, thats one fast caddy! Again, nice run! Time for down pipes and meth!!

Nope, tune is not customized for ethanol.  Also if you're going to go this route, I'd be conservative and keep in mind ethanol content changes based on season.  Refer to this chart starting on page 18:  http://www.ethanolretailer.com/images/uploads/Ethanol_Retailer.pdf

Hehe...downpipes probably.
