2013 PP Calipers on non PP SHO

They seem to be very cheap. Also seems the brackets are the same. I have to rebuild mine so I might as well buy the nice PP ones with the silicon dust boot etc. Will they fit in 19" wheels?

Looks like I found the answer after digging some more.

** Would be helpful for ordering purposes if someone could post the last 8 of their PP vin.

The '13+ PP calipers are the exact same body as the non-PP.  Differences are only internal...different seals and vented pistons.  The actual caliper body is identical and bolts to the exact same brackets.

I even returned my factory calipers for a large core credit in the PP boxes as they are identical in appearance save for the red seals.

Cost was around $40 per caliper doing it that way.  Small price for brand new upgraded calipers.

Good news the caliper housing is identical. As others have said, the nice red silicone dist boots are the only difference. FYI if you change calipers, have the line gaskets handy. They are 7/16 ID copper gaskets/washers. I got some from my local parts store and they fit fairly well and are thinner than OEM.

Note: Ford parts says 3/8 copper gasket. Seemed to me like it was really tight on the banjo bolt threads.

My question about this upgrade:
Did you do the Brake Master as well or
just the front and rear Pads, Calipers & Rotors...?

Sorry.. I guess you have a 2013 Non PP..... so no need already there

More good news, I no longer get the grinding/wobble when braking from a higher speed like an off ramp. Both sets of previous stock rotors did exhibit the issue.
