2013 SHO: Bad Fit for Car Seats

I know that I am probably in the minority on this, but every so often I have to put two cars seats in the back of my 2013 SHO. The location of the car seat anchor points has got be some of the worst locations I have seen in a car. They are neither centered on the car's outboard seats or wide enough to easily accommodate a car seat for a toddler. Don't know how this one passed through the engineering department, but they missed the target

they are not located good but at least you can reach them. one car I used once the space between the top and bottom seat cushions was so tight I couldn't get Latch's installed. had to use the old fashion seat belt lol.

Dadgummit. This isn't good news! My wife and I plan to have our first in the next couple of years. :/

Appreciate the heads up.
I don't know anything about car seats. Does car seat design make a difference, or make an improvement?

I agree, horrible placement with the anchor points. My wife's Focus isn't any better. My old 2011 F150 and current 2006 are much better.

Honestly they aren't the best but they are far from the worst.. And usually for me once the car seat is mounted it doesn't come out very often. So I don't find it that big of a deal.  Some car seats do seam to be easier to install than others.... But that is all hit and miss with the car seat and the auto your putting it in.

It's mainly a pain with the rear facing car seats not the forward facing.
The forward facing seats are not a great fit either as the anchor points actually want to pull the car seat off center of the flat seat bottom.
