2013+ tail lights on 2010 SHO?

This may have already been asked on here, but has anyone succeeded/attempted installing the 2013+ tail light assemblies on the 2010-2011 SHO?  I searched "tail lights" and came up with nothing in the exterior section.

I really like the look of the newer ones as compared to mine.  Any ideas?

But basically, you would have to replace the trunklid too.  Gets mighty expensive mighty quick.

I wish we could just do some sort of treatment to the outer chrome ring so it woudlnt peel my is coming off pretty fast now. theres gotta be a way lol.

Sanding it down and plastidipping it has been reported to be a good solution.

I think DJE624 did his to fix the chrome peeling problem... or maybe just because he didn't like it. Maybe he'll chime in.

I replaced mine with red surround fixtures.  $300 plus ship at Tascaparts.com  Absolutely love them!

I had my tail lights replace by TPO(in 2011) and the chrome has not peel again.

I had the tails replaced in the late spring and they are peeling already....I'm just gonna sand them down and paint them then maybe cover them with the Laminix tail light tint

I don't even know if that specific product is available anymore.  That was almost 2.5 years ago!  I DO believe one of the members on another forum had installed a set, but these have not become wildly popular on here.

Those are pretty cool. Never seen them here before.  I don't know why you are disappointed with Shodded's original answer.  The red surrounds are fantastic and $300 isn't that much for a nice tail light set up.

yeah the modules for those led ones are 300 bucks and i dont even know if thats for both lol. I think im gonna snag some of those red trim ones they look alot cleaner the peeling "ornaments" on this thing are my biggest pet peeve. the ford symbol, ecoboost symbol and the tailights are flaking like crazy.

I fixed the title of your thread, as the LED tails are/were, only found on the 2013+ SHO's.
