2014 Dallas SHO

Just wanted to say hello.  Been lurking since I bought my 2014 SHO in October of 2013.  Installed my new MDesign Cold Air Kit today.  Haven't played with the car much yet as this is my daily driver and I drive around the state a bunch (it now has 47K miles on it and had 43 (notice no K) when I bought it) Love the car.  I have friends with some very expensive sports sedans that cannot believe what my car can do and the technology level.  Best part is I paid half what they paid for theirs.

See you around,

Then u got half the refinement lol....they must be impressed easily...hell even low end kia cars have heated and cooled seats...14 flat ish for a stock car is ok I suppose....welcome pal lol

Agreed, My Friend's F-Sport LS has a level of refinement that I can only wish for.  But then again his $90K vs my $38K might help me not care.  I drive a ton (about 4-5k per month) and I can say that my SHO is fantastic.  It handles any weather just fine, is comfortable, makes people ask if it really is a Ford and can keep up with just about anybody that I encounter on the freeways.

I'm a fan.

Welcome to the community dfwSHO, glad to see ya come out of the shadows :D  Already begun the modding, I see.  Is this your daily driver, intend to take it to the drags or road course with it?  Fullon pics of the beast are always welcome!

Welcome!  :hi:

You know... I drove a lot of cars when I decided on the SHO. I have found the electronics and comfort superior to cars costing 2-3 times as much also. Like you it's a DD. That's why I bought her... I can blow it up modding (not that I want to), buy another one, start over, and still be $$$'s ahead... Good choice! Enjoy our foibles and experiments.  Look forward to yours.

Welcome!

I bought my SHO with 5K miles on it at Sewell Cadillac.  Guy traded it in on a new ATS, what the hell! lol

Get a tune, you'll be spanking just about anything.

For sub $50K, not many sport sedans out there with cooled seats, heated wheel, massage seats, rain sensing wipers, collision control, adative cc, auto parking, AWD, remote start, and can do mid/high 12's with a $400 tune.  Oh and have a 4 body trunk.  Hell, most of the foreign cars can't even put the back seats down.

Only thing missing on this car is power folding mirrors, LED lights throughout, auto up/down windows for the rear, and front parking sensors/camera.  Then it would be perfect.  If Ford made it a 12.8/107mph  car stock, it would be a lot more popular and have more street cred.  Oh well, I love how rare they are.

Daily driver around the state (4-5K per month).  Would love to do some road course work but that will be a bit down the pipe (son #2 on the way.)  For now planning on lowering it, Corsa exhaust (when I can sneak that by the wife), and a tune.

Pic's to follow (needs some TLC and a new windshield (man those are expensive!) then I'll post some up.

Welcome! I wonder if I'm one of the others you saw in Houston. I work near the Galleria as well.

Next time I'm in Houston I'll PM you would love to check out your car. You have most of the mods I want. Maybe we could grab lunch or happy hour. Perk of being on a sales team is I can expense those things easily.

Welcome! Oh, and Motorsport Ranch - Cresson was looking for you. :)
(Me too, but like yourself, my self made parasites are sucking all the road course funds for the next 15+ years...)
