2014 Fusion Titanium

I took my 2013 SHO in to get the remote start and fuel pump seal fixed (2nd attempt for both issues) and the dealer gave me a 2014 Fusion Titanium loaner with 13 miles on the clock to drive for a few days...AWD, 2.0L EcoBoost, and all the bells/whistles. It is pretty nice car and I was surprised by the 2.0L engine, it definitely gets up and goes better than I expected.

The dealer also had a Tremor on the lot. He said it hasn't really gotten much interest from buyers even though it is parked front and center. I guess people just aren't familiar with the model yet? I plan to take it for a little spin when I go to pick up my SHO this weekend.

Nice.  Imagine the Fusion with the Focus ST aftermarket parts installed. Should be a sleeper with AWD.  As for the Tremor, I personally like it, but wish there was a bench seat like the Lightning.  For me, a two-seater is tough.

Yeah...that Fusion would definitely be fun, and still fairly practical for a daily-driver, with a tune and some bolt-on mods. I'd be happy with one but I still like my SHO better.

Fusion would be my second choice after the SHO.  Get all those ST parts on there and you'd have a pretty hot ride.  If fact, I was bored last night and built a Fusion at Ford's site.  They are offering Darkside and it looks pretty sweet!

I agree with Dave. The Fusion hybrid will be the car to replace the wifes Crown Vic CNG. They look like mini SHO's (Almost).

Love the looks of the Fusion  ... just cant get past the 4 banger ... turbo or not.  Plenty of room in it . My previous car to my SHO was a 2011 3.5L Fusion Sport  .... LOVED IT  !!  If only the current gen Fusion had the 3.5 EB      AWD    .......                O M G ! !

I had a Titanium Fusion on order before I got my SHO.  It was better then my GrandPrix but still felt kind of weak, maybe it was just psychological because I knew it was a 4 banger.  I HATED the trunk on the fusion.  With the back glass being so long the trunk lid is very shallow.  So when you open the trunk its like you have to slide stuff in and out from straight back and can't look down into the trunk.

Exactly what is the purpose of the Tremor?  The drivetrain is nice, but if it's supposed to be a sport truck it needs to be lowered and have wider rubber.  Stock lightning tires are 295's.

... and save the 800lbs that the aluminum body on the '15 F150 will!

the tremor isnt marketed properly and really they should just have the option for a short box regular cab with a ecoboost...

Either the dealership is backlogged or they are really stumped!  No reason for you to not test drive the Tremor though :D

I just spoke to them on the phone. It took a couple of days to get the new tank and now they're waiting on an o-ring for the fuel pressure sensor. I'll probably have this car until Tuesday or Wednesday. They probably would let me swap it for a Tremor since I got the car with 13 miles and it now has closer to 500 on the clock, haha.

My response was, "that's fine, take your time."

The tremor trim will go away with the 2015 F-150. From what I read it hasn't been selling well and some people have stated it's a bit over priced.

Didn't cost much fir Ford to do and added some interest to end of life current model

Hopefully well see a Fusion ST with the 2.3l Ecoboost that's going into the '15 Mustang. Looking at over 300+ Hp and hopefully torque to match.

The Fusion ST is already a monster.  Wonder how far the current chassis can go without being turned into a twisted piece of junk?  Plus need a beefy trans to go with.

True... typical problem.  with my first F350 Ford Powerstroke I dropped 2 drivelines pure stock in the first year and in the 1-ton Cummins before I advanced timing from 6 degrees retarded to TDC (before intercooling was on them)... it would chirp the duallies going into 3rd gear.... but I disintegrated a U joint... LOL
