2015 Taurus Exhaust Upgrade?

I would purchase new hangers(bracket)so you will be able to use them on the new mufflers.  Z      Number 11    http://www.tascaparts.com/auto-parts/2013/ford/taurus/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/exhaust-system-cat/exhaust-components-scat

Thanks for the link, I definitely will. Also does anyone know if it is possible to just cut the cats out on the factory downpipe and weld a pipe in, or cut outs, and how the benifits would be from doing this rather than getting completely upgraded down pipes

They were originally called cherry bombs, the glass pack mufflers are the updated newer version and are also a cheap alternative if your looking to make some noise for the time being.  Z

The Summit Racing in house brand ones are an even cheaper alternative, they run about $25 each which is a pretty good deal since they hold up pretty well.

I personally would not touch anything in that intermediate area, its a new car and could void your warranty and set codes off.  Z

I wish the swear words would show here...because you need to be insulted and reminded of how dumb of an idea that is...u have a 15' sho pp on order witch is a 46k or so car...and u want to cut the cats out instead of ordering a set of 600$ catless pipes or 1000$ set of catted pipes?....u have no buisiness modding

His car, his choice, AJ.  That's what it boils down to :)  No need to insult anyone, make your case and let it be.

I didnt say I was going to do it immediately did it? Just a question... If I was going to do anything related to the catalytic converters (or downpipes - which would void the facotry warranty as well) I would do it when the car is out of warranty, or atleast payed off... and with a tune from unleashed or livernoise to turn of anything such as after cat O2 sensors that could cause a code to be set...

I have offroad pipes on my mustang, and had the rear O2s turned off in the tune and have had no issues to date.

Derfdog hope i didnt offend you in anyway,no harm intended.  Z

No you didnt offend me at all, your response was well mannered and concise and I appreciate it. I completely understand keeping it in warranty and avoiding setting of codes.

If there was attitude portrayed in my response it was not towards you. I really appreciate how quick you are to answer all of my dumb questions and not so dumb questions and how knowledgeable you and most of the others here are.
