Ambient lighting not in sync

Im not sure if this is covered in the warranty but the ambient lighting does not work on some modes. If i have it on blue, everything lights up except for the passenger side door handle. If i change it to white, the color comes to a greenish color. Is it out of sync or are some cables mix matched? I already disconnected battery.

not covered on ESP. I found it strange when i went to get my driver side door fixed they said they would all have to be replaced to replace the 3 in the door. but when i look up the parts theres one for each side so couldnt i just do the one side?

I am having same issue, passenger front door door handle led isn't the same color. Obviously the is a LED out cause the only color is can't do is blue. Not to worried about at the moment will fix once it get warmer.

Recalls are for safety issues (generally a risk of injury or death).  Maybe a service advisory, more likely a programming update, IF enough people band together and relay their dissatisfaction directly to Ford.  Because it is usually a significant investment of time & effort on their part, any company will usually wait till the next major revision to "fix" such problems.  So, squeaky wheel & all that.

But I agree, as vehicles go more high tech, and people buy them for their features as much as for their road performance, these little things can mean a lot!

Bummer, all potentially sources of frustration!  Interestingly I have not had these problems and hope I don't... hope I don't since I chose my LEDs in the conversion to match the blue...

All these problems sound like either LED failure/loose connection, mis-wiring of ambient LEDs, or programming glitches (the "won't stay the color I choose" problem. I will admit tht I don't know how the color of the ambient lights is actually determined when it's selected

Maybe dalum or someone with the manuals and diagrams will chime in here.

I hope to have more soon as I order lighting harness for passenger front door. Colors are generated by 4 leds and what I suspect is one of them is burned out. Cause I can produce white and red no problem, but other colors are out of sync and no blue at all from passenger door. But no replacement bulbs for this fix is a harness for all the lighting in door, was $40 so bucks from tascaparts.com.
Will put together a how to when I get part and time.

Very useful!  Thanks.  Really want to see.

I bet that'll be a useful how-to in the coming years, I'm sure...

I tried to keep mine on a set color. After it reverted back to default twice, I said to hell with it.

mine stay on red where I want them but I guess the ECU still makes them blue when getting in / out of the car though ? I guess it's supposed to do that ?
