So recently I saw a local salvage yard got a 2014 Police Interceptor in stock, and I had to go check it out. It definitely was an unmarked car (maybe for a detective?), but surprisingly it was definitely EcoBoost powered! Aside from the caved in rear, the rest of the car was in pretty good shape. Like most 2010-2012 owners I'm not super happy with the OEM brakes so I grabbed the brake booster, master cylinder, and all 4 calipers and caliper brackets. Though with rotors and pads being a consumable item, I really wasn't too keen on buying those.
Which brings me to my question...
What size rotors and pads do I need to actually buy now to get this project off the ground? I know there's varying sizes based on model year in addition to Performance Package vs Non-PP. I heard somewhere that the Interceptor brakes are essentially the PP brakes with a couple minor differences. Does anyone know if that's true or happen to know the sizing I need to keep my eyes out for?
Any help would be very much appreciated! I'm eager to get rid of my mush stoppers lol
