Anyone have a dyno of 93 vs e25?

With ethanol tuner could advance the timing more and get lil bit more out of our cars I would think. I am seriously considering datalogging on e25 and sending to Torrie I just dont want to waste my time if it wont help get more power out of it.

I would start with E20, I'm on revision 6 peaking at 18 PSI of boost and seeing very little KR activity and 1400 PSI min on the rail. Disclaimer-I also use the ACES fuel catalyst

Going to E25 if it is not needed just drops your rail pressure further which is undesirable.

Would e15 give me benefits over 93 with no ethanol? The reason i ask is because i dont have to mix e15 or e25 because the pump i go to has it already. If.i have to mix each time i get gas id rather just stick with 93. I guess i can use e25 for a while and once it warms up a bit i will send torrie a log so he can tell me whats up.

E-0 lets you run 2 more gallons than I can and still be at where I am which is actually about E22 which would put you at 96.2 octane where I'm at 95.

Ethanol has a much higher effective octane when direct injected so I guess I'd say you could go the non mixing route but it won't be optimal for either octane number.

Is E-85 available at the same station as the E-0?

Finding E-0 in this country is almost as hard as spotting a purple unicorn these days.

I think e25 would be awsome as long as you werent running more than about 15-17 psi...i would want to see some logs if it were me to make sure im comfortable with the fuel pressure...and also make sure the tune gives less boost at low rpm...like maybe 12 max below 3k and below 15psi below 4k...just rough numbers without seeing logs

Well maybe but at high RPM you should have enough fuel to run the same boost as most people with 3 bar tunes(14-17psi). But you should be able to tolerate a little more spark....You may just be limited to how much boost you can run at lower rpms....But most people don't have the tune set up to command a lot of boost at low rpm and when you go deep into the pedal, unless you changed the tranny to hold hear when in sst shift mode, the car will just downshift anyway which will increase revs from the downshift and you will have the RPM to increase output from the high pressure pump.

Personally I would mix using the E-0 and E-85 which will give you the stoutest mix. Consider that the mix will be 3+ octane points higher than the premix with less hit to FRP.

Not necessarily, E-85 can make similar power on less boost because you can run more timing
