Armor All tire Glaze Warning !!!

I tried some today, sprayed all 4 tires today then the phone rang.....15 min later that stuff is HELL to get off wheels. tried carb cleaner, glass cleaner, wd 40, car wash soap, dish soap.... just turned into a slimy, rubbery mess. Tires look good tho, maybe 2 shiny. Soooo clean your rims IMMEDIATELY !!!

I'm a painter lol. I HATE that crap on the used cars. Glaze did make my mudflaps and bumper
pad look better than anything else

We spray all tire dressing stuff onto a rag or sponge then apply it. Never spray at tire. like you just found out... messy.

I have to update, 2 months later my tires are still shiny lol. I tried it on the bumper pad and the black plastic wiper cowl. Masked of car with newspaper this time. I't makes a mess if you get it on somewhere you don't want it but it does last!!! I live in Florida now so it rains almost daily in afternoon.

You know this already but never use any kind protectant in the engine bay.

I actually HATE that zsho, I'm a painter and nothing I hate more than working on a car and trying to paint the front end with that crap all over

I seldom use that stuff but when i do the splash guards do a pretty job on protecting the side of the vehicle from armorall ,rocks,irt and debri getting o the side of the vehicle,best investment made was purchasing the oem molded splash guards.

I use Adams Polishes Super VRT. It makes the tires look clean but doesn't give the fake plastic gloss feel.
