Awd tire change information???

What I am wondering about this awd system is it possible to change 1-2 tires at a time? I know subaru, Mitsubishi and the systems that are full time awd you can't it will burn transfer cases up. Seeing as this is a slip sensing awd drive system would it be possible to change 1,2 or3 at a time. I have my assumptions that it's not a good idea to do it.

Dealer only replaced 1 tire for us after purchase because of defect and their cheapness. 2 days later had other front replaced just because I was worried also, and didn't want to invest in tires at the time not knowing what wheels I was going to end up with. After coming to the realization that the stock wheels might be my best bet, I replaced the rear 2 months later. No issues for me, that I know of at least.

I replaced one, 8k miles later, no problems. The 3 older tires have 6mm tread and the new one has 8mm. Not a big difference

I guess this is a start lol. I wouldn't expect a dealer to replace just one tire if it wasn't safe but then again you never know about dealers they can be shady. I had been looking around on here for information on this and haven't been able to find any. So this may be a start to a decent discussion and information.

If the system senses enough of a difference, it will shut down AWD functions, and will be FWD till the issue is corrected.  The PTU won't like it however, so it is always prudent to replace at least both tires on either the front or the rear at the same time, and stay within the 3% between front & rear after replacement.
