Blending Methanol in gasoline

Well that's awesome.

So 15% blend will add 3 MOV. I can get methanol for $2.15 a gallon right now so maybe I'll try to get a 97/98 octane tune made.

i think trying to sub Meth for ethanol on a 1:1 ratio will impact fuel volume much worse than the corn...

I assume you do not have access to methanol? Easy at least. I can mail you some... hah.


I'll try out 10% meth in the fuel and see how it compares to 98% ethanol at 10%.

Honestly IDK.

At the track, the car was quicker with the corn but just too many variables to be sure.

It did put a halt to + KR however.

In my little sphere if the world, using the corn is just simpler. Once the car is tuned, I might try it again with some datalogging.

I didn't notice anything, Wass dumped a full gallon in his maybe he has some feedback.

My car smelled wonderful on meth lol. More of a hot, dry clean kinda smell.

Didn't notice as much condensation out of the exhaust when running meth. Maybe it was a more complete burn?
