Catless SW DP's with canned tune?

I have  flex EB (I know sho part of the forum) but I already have a canned sct tune in the car and I am installing the downpipes this weekend and want to make sure it won't cause Amy major issues besides a cel or crap fuel mileage.
Was planning on a 3bar tune from unleashed but was informed today that he cannot tune out the rear o2's anymore...
So will this be safe for normal driving for say 2-3 weeks till I find and order a 3bar tune?

AJPTurbo who is a local forum tuner and SCT dealer can get you a great 3BAR tune... PM him!

As far as safe with a canned tune? If your car is running ok with the canned tune, adding DPs won't hurt.

The CEL for catless pipes is an OBD driven emissions diagnostic failure, and will not affect performance but is merely for EPA compliance. However, it is annoying to have it, and if some other issue(s) occur(s) you may not know since a lamp would already be set.

That's weird that he can't shut em off anymore. I had mine dissabled by him.  Hmmm.  Must be somthin new

Nothing new.....some tuners may have recent changes to their business operations but it has always been illegal to circumvent federal emission regulations....i think when customers recognize changes to tuning features provided by tuners they think its from new rules
