Chip Repair

Okay all - what do you use (if anything) for DIY paint chip repair? Or is there a service/vendor that is best? On my last detail I noticed several nice chips in the A pillars and over the head lights. Needs fixed - whats the best method?

I find the paint pens these people sell are GREAT matches and far easier to apply than any brush touch up. I have ordered from them several times.  Their paint (at least for my steel blue) is a much better match than the FORD touch up paint O got from the dealer too).  Pens including shipping are about 19 bucks as I recall - well worth it.

Most dealers will have a mobile paint guy. Up here they charge us (I'm a dealer) about $125 per repair. More expensive than a pen sure but much better finished product.

Kinder is correct that magority of the dealers have a paint guy there once a week for cosmetic blemishes at your service,if you purchased your car there they will work something out for you,or in my case there was no charge for a little ding they had to pul out which literally took them five min.

For small chips... aka "road rash" I have had excellent results and an easy job with Dr Colorchip.  No sanding... Multiple coats possible if needed in about 5 minutes.
