I was going to get the LMS catted downpipes and throw them on, however the more I think bout it the more I feel it's probably worth just "waiting". I'm curious to see where we stand with new turbos next year and I figure if I end up doing the turbos, I can then just do downpipes since I would need the labor to pull the turbo's.

I don't think the "hp" increase with downpipes is worth the $1k price + labor now--

Thoughts?

Yeah; kinda why I thinking about waiting until I do the turbos.

It'll be turbos and meth at same time.

To get back on topic :bangin:... the reason my nuts had to be heated up was because they were rusty :-[ and stuck :- due to age :'( and mileage ....  So heating them up was the only way to get them off..  So.. after they were off we were able to install the new pipe ;D  and determine how much performance gain there was.

For those of you that have less miles on the equipment ;D your nuts probably won't be an issue.

Only because of of their age... LOL

This is all BPD's Fault!!!! Reminds me of what my college roommate wrote on our car at our wedding... "Hot Springs tonite... Deadwood tomorrow"!  And roommate became a Lutheran Minister later....  but I digress...

Like 4DRHTRD says Downpipes are a big performance helper...

With the PPE downpipes and Torrie's best canned tune, I am about maxing out boost readings with 2 bar sensor  (per Torrie) and doing this on 91 octane in 94 deg + high humidity.  First time I have tuned Flex in 16 mo. Was able to power brake to 2100 RPM on rough concrete.

I like boobies; but not boobies like Mike.

Them boobies are too big of boobies and boobies that big are no fun.
