Ebc brakes squealing

Noticed at a drive through window my ebc red pads were squealing pretty bad at low speed.
They only have about 10k on them.
Peeked at the caliper to see this

looks like the shim came loose and somehow twisted and stretched out on the mounting tab.
Here's the other side.

Will be sending an email to ebc shortly to see what they can do.
Anyone ever see something like this?

I feel for you Glock, sounds like the drivers side shims came apart, was there any shaking or any kind of vibration prior?? Z    NON PP  http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3071A0A0.aspx
No vibration, just a faint low speed squeal.
Was that bad bushing on the drivers side also, putting more pressure(tension)possibly suspension related causing that shim to break, just a thought and hopefully i'm wrong.  Z

It was on the passenger side. I actually went to the dealer today for that bushing.  good news is both front lower control arms are getting replaced through the Warranty I purchased with the vehicle.

I sent an email to ebc, we'll see what they say.

Thats some great news there, real happy for ya.  BTW you should consider the oem pads which come with a two year warranty on parts and labor, for future reference.  Z  :)
