Elm327 adapter problem

Hey guys, I was redoing my torque dashboard today to display more info/pids. I was trying to duplicate FoMoCoSho's. He has around 20 individual gauges showing at once.
Once I switched everything around, I started torque, everything was fine. Then about 10 mins in, the adapter just stopped working. It was still paired with Bluetooth, just not communicating with torque.
Kept coming up "adapter not found"

I thought I might have accidentally change some settings, but
everything is the same.

I tried my SCT X4 for the gauges and its working fine.

Did I toast my elm327 adapter asking it to poll 20 different pids?  I only had it doing 6 on any screen at once before.

I am also pretty new with this torque pro,you could try rebooting your phone,heard there is alot of glitches with the elm and pairing issues.
 
I tried rebooting my tablet a few times.  I've had this setup for almost a year with no problems. Just seems weird it starts acting up after I put more gauges on my screen.

Have you tried forgetting the adapter on the tab, pulling the elm and reinstalling then re-pairing? I've had to do this before with Torque on every device I have it on.

Thx for the suggestion. Just tried...still no dice. Looks like I have a reason to buy a MX adapter now.

Does that one have the little button on it to press to pair them back up. There's a small button on the obd 2 mx to press in these situations.

No button. Just pair it through the Bluetooth menu and enter the code.
The tablet is connecting with the elm327 but   
Not communicating with torque.
 
Wish I lived closer to you, would let you try the mx to see if the problem lies in your scantool. Anychance your phones Bluetooth is on causing interference?

My torque app on the note 3 said update,and had to start all over with pairing,pin # and etc.

Definitely worth a try!  I have been enjoying the MX setup so long (didn't have to enter any of that stuff, auto-negotiated), I have almost forgotten what it's like to use more "basic" BT devices LOL.  MX = BT for dummies :D
 
Just tried uninstalling/reinstalling torque.  Still no go,
I think this BT module is done. I tried it in our other vehicle and it still did not work.
Probably order the MX in the next few days.

Did you happen to dl dashcommand to see if it works? Just trying to cover all troubleshooting bases....

Trial version is limited but free....
 
Just ordered obdlink MX adapter. Should be here Wednesday...
( I love amazon prime ) hopefully everything will be good to go after.
