Installed Unleashed 93 octane tune last night & the car is so freakin' FAST!!!  It's unbelievable!!!

I totally understand what everyone says about "falling in love with the car all over again" & "you should've done it sooner"!!!

EVERYONE that has a SHO must get a tune...........it's as simple as that............

Thank you Torrie for everything!!

Mark

I would like to add that ALL Ecoboosted vehicles should get a tune...........didn't mean to leave out the XSports or the F150s or the MKSs, etc.........

It is an amazing feeling that first drive after a tune.  Especially if its your first forced induction motor and even more so with a turbo.  Its not like a n.a. motor where you might get 10 or maybe 20 horse power. A tune on these motor is like awakening sleeping fire breathing Dragon you didn't know about. And the car drives normal when you drive normal. the perma 😀 grin strike again

Great to hear!

The power add is awesome.

One thing that stands out in a huge way to me also...the shifting in normal driving conditions. Makes you wonder what Ford was thinking with such a great improvement that doesn't feel harsh at all.

Boost on!!!

FYI, the 2015 shifts much better than the 2013.

In fact, it behaves very similar to the Torrie tuned 2013.

Lots of little improvements overall...

Well said. I have tried to explain this numerous times, often times I am looked at like I am exaggerating.

That's good to hear...only took em 5 years to turn those granny shifts up a bit.

Are you going to datalog and retune?

Oh, and give the tune a few days, it will get better....

Just about every SHO owner has some sort of tune so it makes me wonder-did Ford leave room for tunes on purpose and is now not responsible for engine damage/replacement? I bet as high as 80 percent of SHO owners have flashed their computer at least once.  Going to a new engine design with direct injection and now the manufacturer doesn't have to honor a engine/power train warranty! Just a thought.

I think you are confusing Ford with GM ;)

I know the difference between Ford and GM I was just trying to figure out why Ford left so much room for tuning. If these cars would've been tuned right from the factory we would see a lot more on the streets

The oems including ford would never push these cars to the extent we have...8-10 psi is quite normal for factory boosted cars...maybe you are new to turbos but all previous factory turbo cars left plenty on the table and pretty much any car I can think with a factory turbo had another 80 horse power in it.

It's the same reason wrx doesn't come with 400 hp, Toyota supras didn't have 400hp, Acura RDX doesn't have 380hp, gti don't have 320, Mazda speed3 don't have 380...should I go on?...all of those are realistic crank hp goals from increasing the boost on stock turbos.

The oems Aren't into pushing fuel systems and transmissions and chassis to the max for the sake of a few boy racers.

350hp , 10:1 compression , plenty of torque,  seats 5 ,4400lbs , all weather performance, and 25 mpg highway all on 87 octane...not bad...don't think they left too much on the table for the average guy

Now have your 450hp ...you need premium fuel . Mpg will suffer a little and fuel system is heavily taxed and running at full bore with your average 3 bar tune, running torque levels that exceed what the 6f55 is rated for and people complaining of wheel hop and axle and tranny damage...yep ford left a lot on the table and is stupid lol...come on

Well said and you're right this is my first turbo car-def makes sense but ask yourself this could you really go back to the stock tune and enjoy your car? My tune is why I still have my SHO

Sure and thousands of people enjoy a stock sho...nothing wrong with a 14 flat 1/4 mile and peace of mind of a stock vehicle...that being said...I have peace of mind and I run the piss out of mine...been tuning and modding too long to not be comfortable with it
