Keep hearing negative things about CAI on the SHO so I went with a drop in filter instead. Debating buying it any advice?

i transferred rich's idea over to my chally that has a k&n & have noticed a noticable drop in air input temps. the nice thing about the pipe insulation is first it's cheap & 2nd shows by indentation where the hood is pressing against it, so can add another layer if hood not hitting all of it, as mine was first doing.

This pic I have is prior to any hood closings. Looks alot better in this pic than it does now with the weird indentions solitified in the foam.

So I got a bit delayed on listing this on eBay and because I'll be traveling in early March to Phoenix I won't be putting it on there until after I get back, I wanted to bump this post in the mean time to let folks know I still have this.
