GIOVANNA BARBADOS?

just trying to get some opinions on Giovannas Barbados BMB wheels...

do you think these are too flashy/aggressive in appearance (in general and/or for a MKS)?
or if anyone knows any specific info on these wheels, such as known issues/problems with them etc.

the smallest size available for these is 22 inches.  most consider them to be relatively lite in weight but its hard to find specific data on them (as it is for many wheels).

dr-
wheels as far as i'm concerned are like everything else we here on forum do,some like flash like me & some are like dave that like suttle. also heavily dependent on color of car & scheme you want. what i like about some of the wheels sites especially TSW is they show you a pic of your car w/ wheels on it. right now i'm look at these from TSW but would like the same without the knibs or whatever they are called as they are a pain to keep clean.

Suitable for classic cars IMHO.  And also, as a practical note, 22" on an MKS/SHO might be pushing it from a ride standpoint.

I do like the wheels tho, they just need the right application.

Not my style... But not a bad looking wheel.  I think it wants a bigger car than the SHO and more squared car styling.

I have to agree with most of the above opinions .... Not too sure of the LOOK .  I don't think it would be a good visual fit .

You can do whatever you want for rims, but from where I stand I just can not see those rims looking right on any vehicle.

You don't have to church it up.

Those wheels are fugly.

i don't think you or him have any trouble with mincing you all's words.  i also think both of you are overstating just a tad.

i usually go more subtle, but i know someone selling a compatible set of these for what seems to be a very deep discount; hence my quandary.

the price peaked my interest and after looking at some pics of vehicles online, i'm kind of on the fence; although i usually would not go this aggressive in terms of style.

anyway, decisions - decisions...

It does look good on the SRX, but I think it looks better out of the sunlight, where the black is at its' "blackest".  Tempted to custom carve 'em :D

I think there is a reason they're on a deep discount.  BTW, what rims are on your car now?

sorry, i answered the wrong quote.

blacklightning, i have the standard 20 in 11-spoke MKS rims.

usually these rims are very expensive and still are, the deal I'm talking about is a private sale...

yea man  ;D

they come in all black, but the ones i may be able to get a deal on are the machined finished ones...

If you send me a good side shot of you car and a wheel, I can put them on for you.
