It's great to see all that can be done with these cars.I was going through buyers remorse thinking I should have just gotten a Taurus Limited and this site helped me feel good about buying the SHO instead.

I had a '12 Limited that I traded for a '12 SHO.  Totally different animal!  And I mean animal.  I had a loner of a '13 Limited a while back and couldn't believe what a dog it was.  Of course my SHO is tuned so that made a difference too.  LOL I'm pushing about 420 Crank HP vs. 288.

:WELCOME: I am sure you will be glad you got a SHO, it is so much more fun to drive then the Limited and has much more available to mod and truly make the car your own.  I would suggest getting a tune, it is amazing how much it improves the performance of the car.

Welcome... FORD does not stand for Fix Or Repair Daily... People who buy Lincoln's do NOT have heads that are too big to fit in a FORD... LOL

When you guys talk about tunes are you talking about a Livernois SCT or My Calibr8or tune? What is the better way to go with the different tuners? Are they easy to install yourself?

There are a myriad of tuners that have come into the foray now.....

But the two companies that have been in the Ecoboost platform since the beginning, are Livernois and Unleashed Tuning.

Both are competent, and both offer great service.

The MyCal device sold exclusively through Livernois, does allow them access to more parameters over the SCT device.

Both companies do sell/support the SCT however.

LMS also does have a close partnership with FMC. Particularly their Racing Division. Like this/close.

So, it goes w/o saying that that relationship does foster an edge so to speak over all of their competitors.

But again, there are plenty of tuners to choose from at this point.

I'm sure the rest of our membership will chime in as to their opinions/experiences.

Either way, obtaining a tune (from whoever) is bar none, THE BEST BANG for your buck as most of the Ecoboost platforms appear to have been severely detuned from the factory.

Enjoy your newly found speed whenever and whomever, you decide to go with!  :drive:

Welcome To EBPF...
Glad You're Here!  :WELCOME:

Either one does it for a 2010!  :burnout:

Both Livernois and Unleashed are in the vendor area.

Both are very responsive to inquires.
