H&R rear springs

I  have a 2013 Taurus sho PP and would like to lower the rear over the car to make it have  a more level stance. My thoughts were to install H&R rear springs only. I'd rather have Megan coil overs or Eibach's but neither of them are available. Any thoughts on my idea?

FYI.... Megan is still promising a delivery date in August for coil overs for the '13+ SHO last I heard. Mike at ecopowerparts is taking orders.

Any year attached to that month promise, BiGMaC?  J/K!  I sincerely hope this comes about so I can tell people the coilovers are a REALITY!!!

Manu... I know you're aware of the fitment issues last year and the delay in work due to racing season and the need for some redesign.  Mike has me on the list for the first run... Last I knew he was told Aug 2015. Maybe he'll chime in with any new details/info.

I just got off the phone with Megan Racing. They informed me today their R&D department has run into more issues and have decided to put the project on the back burner. He also said their gonna have to redesign the coilovers and has no idea when they'll be available since they no longer even have a prototype .... Just so everyone knows

Any idea who at Megan you talked with, ddlopes?

Sorry I didn't get a name. I asked for sales department. Then they transferred me. I then asked about the release date for the 2013 taurus sho coil overs. And well the rest you already know. They've been having all lot of issues trying to produce a product for our 2013 and up SHO's. I'm not convinced it'll ever happen. Just seems like there's not a big market for aftermarket parts for our cars!

If youre not opposed to it, install front and rears.
I love the way the car looks and feels with the new springs

Did you notice ride difference, from Stock PP springs and the HR  I would like the lower center of gravity, I also want firmer ride for the road course.. maybe loose a little the push(understeer) in hard corners.

It's a noticeable difference, I have the H&Rs in for 2 years now. I love the difference. Steering response seems more immediate. Also tail and nose dip are almost gone. And it's not a ton more stiff than the PP setup.

Any rubbing or bottoming with 4 adults and a trunk full of luggage?

Trunk full and 3 adults and one 7 year old. Drove it 1000KM back and forth to Ann Arbor MI no issues. You will need to be careful of steep driveways. Other than that it doesn't rub on any speed bumps that I have come across.
