Hola.
Purchased my 2013 SHO in Metallic Green Gem in April this year, with 28k miles.
Its now my daily so I can park my cobra swapped cop car and get it fixed after a catastrophic leanout.
Haven't done much to the SHO. A Livernoise tune with a 160 thermostat. On 91 since nowhere I've been to or where I live has 93. We have a sunoco with 100+ but no 93.
Just here for information and stuff really.
I've often wondered what hp figures are with a 91 LMS tune are. I got to play with a Focus RS on the highway headed to Vegas for my honeymoon. With the trunk and backseat full to the brim, he could barely pull away from me. By 135 at my limiter he was about 30 ft ahead.
Why does our car not have full time AWD like the Fusion sport?
How in gods name do I reduce under hood temperatures? Its 115° in Vegas and its like a million degrees under the hood.
Does any one offer custom vented hoods for these things?
If not how to install a GT500 esque heat exchanger in the hood, or vents.
From here I have seen downpipes are a great mod, intakes suck (no pun intended), and exhaust can be really raspy, I want flow master hp-2's honestly.
Where I have live, I have only ever seen a Green Gem metallic SHO online, or in my garage. Is the color a less favored option? It seems much more rare than say, red, or blue, or black.
I feel Ford really dropped the ball design wise with the SHO model. It looks no different than a base model SE. I feel the SHO needed beefier fender flares. A different front and rear fascia to aesthetically set it apart. Something besides wheels and a goofy tiny SHO badge to denote a car that isn't a slouch by any means. The intake sound is lackluster. And the exhaust is granny central stuff. Lol like it needed a bit more growl. I'd like to hear the turbos. I did the BOV mod but even with a tune and more boost its still very quiet and doesn't blowoff during acceleration unless I let off the throttle. Can we install an aftermarket BOV and boost controller?
