Howdy! New Flex owner here...

Hey everyone, my name is Jon and my family is the proud new owners of a 2013 Ford Flex Limited EB. This is my first EB, although I had driven a friend's EB F150 several times. We've only had it a few days but we're already in love. I was just telling my wife how much I missed my Mustang, but after driving this thing...I think I found my fix! My wife named it "White Lightning" after the first ride, so I think that's what we're going with. The biggest thing I'm having to get over is the MPG change. We had a 2013 Jetta TDI that consistently got 38-44 MPG. Those days are long gone. Oh well, a few appearance and performance mods and I think we'll be set.

Can't wait to be a part of the EBPF community!

Welcome to EBPF, the best forum on the web. GREAT looking Flex you've got there. If you think its 'white lightning' now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until you get a tune on that puppy.

Do they have variable tunes that you can load on the fly? Need an eco tune for road trips and a performance tune for Friday night cruises.

Welcome to the community, Jon, nice looking Flex!  4DR evolved quite a few performance mods for the EB platform based on his Flex, so I am sure we can get you running the dash in a flash

Just ask the tuner you go with.  They can provide you an appropriate tune for each circumstance.  Once you get familiar with the tuning device, shouldn't take you but 5 minutes to switch tunes.  If you decide to have a 3-bar MAP tune put on, keep the 2-bar MAP handy in the Flex just in case you have to revert to stock.
