Is anybody interested in a group buy on my cutout that I had made?

I am going to be able to replicate the exhaust cutout tubing if people want to purchase it.
There are two items that would need to be purchased
1. Sound and Performance cutout - http://www.spracingonline.com/store/
You would order the 3" cutout from Sound and Performance, those I can't have made. They're $399 right now just for the cutout valve.
2. I would be able to offer the piping required to install the cutout in place of the 3rd cat. for $550.00, I would need 5 orders to make this happen. I would have to take a $100 deposit from everyone interested and it would be approximately 30 days before they would ship.

When you receive your exhaust pipe from me you will take it to a muffler shop and have them cut the pipe between the muffler and 3rd cat and weld on the new flanges that will be supplied to bolt in this piece. If needed you could put flanges on the 3rd cat to allow for easy reinstallation in the future.
If you're interested please let me know.

The pictures and discussion of the piping and cutout are in this topic:

Definitely! Being able to keep my stock exhaust and having an open exhaust when needed sounds like the best of both worlds.

Sorry, I wasn't able to put a group buy together. I can reproduce it one off but it's $1200 for the exhaust work and $400 for the cutout.

What would you say the difference in power would be between the cutout and catted downpipe with stock exhaust?

I like how the stock setup sounds and none of the aftermarket solutions have got me very excited, especially if I wind up with unwanted noise.

Were you running downpipes when you tested the cutout?
Initially no, I picked up .2 on stock downpipes. Recently, yes on catted PPE downpipes. I picked up 3psi along with quicker spool with it open on the dyno with the new turbos.

Any guess as to what total power gain of both combined?

I am confident the PPE catted downpipes give 20HP, on stock turbos I would guess between 10-20 HP.
As you increase boost you'll increase power via the cutout.
