While taking out the trash my neighbor calls me over.
He's a car guy, had a 14 Z06 vette, traded it in for a 15 viper. Has a truck, daily driver focus ,sport bike etc....

Just brought home a 2017 octane red charger hellcat.
Took me around the block just taking it easy....trying to break it in......
Right......
This thing has a whole new level of power nothing like anything I've experienced.
The acceleration is relentless...
You don't feel the shifts, you just know they happen because of the exhaust tone changing.
The brakes are like throwing out a parachute, 15.5 " brembos.


Dodge definitely got these thing right.


And yes, he was using the red key.

Awesome!!!!! Always the red key!!! I'm jealous! I goaded one on the highway in the SHO once.... I still think there is paint missing in places on my car...

I drove a 2016 Charger Hellcat and it is insane, almost unuseable power.  I only had it for 15 minutes so I'm sure you get used to it and how to apply to power to minimize wheel spin.  They are fun for sure and great at destroying tires.

Dream car for me!  I like turning rubber into molten globs of goo and smoke!

I'd probably have to figure out which wheel/tire combo would give me the most smoke for the least $$$ if I owned one.
