large bang on roof

Any members experience this,while waiting for red light to change during winter heard a large bang sound coming from roof area,this happenes twice.i was pissed off thought a rock or something hit the roof,went home to inspect the car could not find nothing wrong,very strange.

Metal on roof probably relaxing rapidly do temperature change.

Crash is likely correct...
However, if you have a moon roof you should check all functions though... at a time when it's not going to rain or freeze. 
I have not had the issue in my SHO.... but in my previous ride, an F150, I had it twice and both times it was cracking and failure of the rails for the glass preventing it from closing.
