Leaving the family....

The SHO will be no more come next week; finishing up paperwork on a 15' Silverado 1500 LTZ with 2LZ and Z71 package--got $10k off MSRP (Ford couldn't offer better on truck or even the trade, even with XPLAN). Chevy also threw in 2 years free oil changes.

Dealer gave $19k for my 13' SHO PP with 61k miles--I didn't bother with mods. I'm sure some service tech will rip them out and enjoy them in his Honda Civic.

Wife and I drive home Christmas to take my dad's truck back to him and pick up mine. It'll be awhile before I get to enjoy it.

This is the first Chevy in my life--I've owned nothing but Ford (minus the Dodge Cummins I had in high school).
