Looking good TB!!!  :thumb:  Thanks for the pics.   I have a SHO, but as you know it's a twin sister of the MKS (so far).... and this mod along with hot pipes, CAI, and  a tune are The first mods I'll make after baseline dyno reading. This helps me a lot....BTW, jealous of your lift!

It's almost done. More pics coming soon. From what I hear, tune, meth, and downpipes are best bang for your buck. FYI, it's not my lift. I'm at a shop

Everything is in. It's a thing of beauty. After a test drive, it's clear the turbos are spooling faster and there is more power down low. Noticeable difference. I noticed a gassy smell. But they may be break in. Nothing to be worried about. Also had a small fitment issue that they were able to clear up by adding a small piece. Happy with the product. LMS does it again

very nice ! how much did they cost vs the non catted pipes ? I want to get some and I think I'll save the extra $ and get non catted and keep my stockers if I ever need to swap them back in. It's my understanding you cant really tell a difference in sound, or power catted to non catted with the stock exhaust still in (which I will leave in). I asume yours still sounds stock ? exhaust / turbo whistle ??

I believe it was about a 200 difference. Check LMS website. But at this moment mine is hooked to the stock exhaust and there is no sound difference what so ever. I'll take the 2hp hit vs uncatted any day. To me these cars don't have a nice sound as it is and uncatted makes it worse. Just my 2cents.  I can't really tell if there is anymore whistle. My intake is quite a bit louder than stock and at this moment that's all you can hear.

I wondered if it whistles more just at idle. I hear you on the sound but it was my understanding that even non catted with the stock exhaust it still doesn't sound much different than stock.

I have LMS D-pipe, Magflow 2.5" x-pipe, 2.5" exhaust back, and DynoMax mufflers. Great sound but when I put the stock muffler back on (for road trips w/THE WIFE) IT SOUND STOCK!!!!

new down pipe,x pipe,and 2 5 exhaust sound check

Guys I'm going to say it again, get catless downpipes from whoever but if you want catted downpipes the PPE ones are the only ones that don't throw a code and will pass emissions. In a little bit he's going to start throwing 2nd O2 codes which will have to be tuned out by LMS if they didn't do it already with his initial tune. You'll not pass readiness checks with any emissions tests that look at the rear O2.
Just FYI

I like shoman's commentary in the beginning of his video clip while shooing the loose cat to off camera right.....

"Get out da way cat, go on, get out da way, we want to hear the sound"

Freak'n classic! In true shoman style!

Personally, I would've left the cat in the screen shot, & started up the car anyhow.

The startled look would've been equally as humorous.

Bwahahahaha.

Interesting. The only reason I chose there's over your was time frame. Only time will tell I guess. But they were priced the same.

What are the pros vs cons of catted vs non catted
NJ only does a visual check, so that won't matter....inspection that is..
Thx

Get the non-catted and have someone weld a fake cat on the outside!.. In AZ they stil a tube in each exhaust and idle you to death!
