Logout issue

This is probably just nit-picking, but . . . when I access the forums from my home laptop, I choose the "forever" option under the drop-down asking how long I want to remain signed in, since I'm the only one who uses this PC. However, whenever I return to the forum, I find I'm signed out and need to sign back in. While this is not a major annoyance, I thought I would point it out since it's a feature not working correctly. :)

It works fine for me on 5 different devices.

Make sure you can accept cookies.

Chocolate Chip to be exact.

I have that issue with Firefox on my desktop but not my laptop. I use a password storing app so it auto logs me back in so it doesn't bother me. Definitely a cookie issue on the browser, I just don't feel like spending more than 30 seconds to diagnose. :)
I don't get logged out while using IE or chrome though.

Never mind, I just had to log in. I'll try and see what the browser differences are between my laptop and PC.

One thing that I noticed made a difference as well.
Don't use the login password on the top right of the forum. Logout and use the login/passon the top left of the forum and choose forever.

It appears whatever you've done with Chrome has indeed corrected it, I was logged in upon my return just now.

Still logged in on FF 22.0.  I have always used the login on the left with "forever" selected.  Seems all is well again :)

The changes I made yesterday were:
1. Update settings so that site is www.ecoboostperformance.com instead of ecoboostperformance.com
2. Update the .htaccess file to force ecoboostperformance.com requests to become www.ecoboostperformance.com
3. Change the cookie name from an old name to ecoboostperformance

Please go into your respective browsers and clear the cookies for this site, close your browser and try again.

IE is working for me but it keeps logging me out, I just cleared my cookies (you can't delete individual ones) by this method.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/delete-manage-cookies#ie=ie-10

I didn't have to do anything for chrome to work correctly.

For Firefox I deleted the ecoboost performance forum cookie specifically and restarted the browser.

OK this morning after clearing cookies on IE and using the top left box log in box (only seen if logged out) and clicking submit there I am no longer being disconnected on any browser on my computer.
I can not work on the Mac stuff though, sorry. :(

Any way you can point to a virtual directory for ecoboostperformanceforum.com?  In the old IE web server days, you could point to different root URL's that way.  Maybe internally the references are switching between the WWW and non-WWW addresses?

It was going back and forth between the root domain name and the www host record, I have not pointed everything to the www host record. It should be cleared up for everyone once the old cookies are deleted and browser restarted.
