Its a thought ....  the Ford 2013 Taurus SHO is built on the FORD GLOBAL D3/4 platform that  is a modified Volvo P2 platform  that all goes back to 1999  and there are coilovers available for them  ...  Possible Fit ???

Gonna go some digging .... Google is my friend ....

Below are .pdf images from  the FORD parts website of stock front and rear setup . I cant find actual photos .

Anyone else with spare time willing to help would be appreciated .... thanks

Gotta get hold of a stock strut and take some measurements first ...

Don't want to tear mine apart to do this if I can avoid it...

I'm going to bet you'll find they look more like the previous gen ones do, and less like the new ones.

We have a greatly simplified setup nowadays, I'm not sure why the heck Megan doesn't just make a new front strut coilover for us.  The rear is the same still.  Seriously, it would be a few hours of work for engineering, just new welded parts on the main body, and we're good.

It bothers me that, despite the market requesting it, almost NO mods are available for the Flex/Taurus/Explorer family of cars.  Go find me a new taillight.  Headlight.  Hell, find me a body kit for 2013.  Different springs besides H&R.  Intake (other than what I had to fool around with to prove works), exhaust (other than overpriced Mags and drony CGS), and so on.  Gets pretty disappointing.

What I'd do, is go to monroe or blistien or kyb and cross reference part numbers. I am not sure if they'll have replacement strut for a 2013 yet. That would make it much easier if they did that way you could see if same part is used on a kin Volvo. And it maybe possible to cross reference the motorcraft part number for a replacement.

No aftermarket co makes a strut for our cars.

Rock Auto shows the options, and it is pretty weird.  We have what apparently is called the "Cyclone" engine (nonEB).  Huh.  Welp, there ya go.
