low boost on log, slugish MKT ecoboost...newbie

I am happy to find my Lincoln "certified" used mkt is finally running better. we bought it 2 weeks ago and it seemed sluggish.....they gave us a loaner mks for a few days for some warranty work to get done...seemed a lot faster.....dealer said ours was fine....long story short I installed all the basic stuff you guys do for a 3 bar tune(live wire ts, map, stat, airbox, etc.....boost showed low on log...(im just learning the software) Torrie says something is leaking or mechanical....I go out after lunch and find bank 2 wastegate linkage is off and e clip is gone....so I fix that and now we can move fwd. now I fell better!! thanks unleashed and forum

Sweet!  Sometimes you have to put clamps on hoses where there were non OEM ...

Glad the problem is solved, and that it was an easy enexpensive one. Sometime you get to feel smarter than a Ford engineer!

It was the rod to wastegate lever..e clip was gone and linkage disconnected
