Lowering Springs in the Winter..

Quick question to all that have lowering springs installed on their SHO. How is the ride in the winter? Is the handling better or worse? Do u slide more? How is the stopping power/distance?

Just my opinion as we don't get much snow here but I would thing the only negative affect could be deep snow driving, other than that I wouldn't think there would be much difference.

It doesn't really effect the ride, that said we had a really bad winter last year and the ride height was an issue sometimes. I actually purchased a second set of struts for the winter. This way when I put on my winter tires I toss in the struts and springs a quick alignment and I am good for the winter. Total cost was $300 for additional set. The alignment is only $75.00

Thanks for the info, will definitely take these comments into consideration before purchasing lowering springs.
