MKS steering wheel on 2011 SHO?

That's pretty nice but the air bag is gonna cost you.  And it will have a Lincoln logo on it.

I had a 12 Boss 302 alcacentra(sp) wheel on my 2009 GT500.  It required replacing the connector for the cruise control to work.  The airbags where the same.  I'm wondering dimensionally if ours would fit into that steering wheel?  Any Lincoln/Ford techs on here can confirm?  The cost of a used wheel is not that bad so I may try it either way.

I don't know about yours but the airbag is totally different from mine.

The weird part is because the wheel has different diameters, you can't get a cover for it.  I tried to get a
Wheelskin cover and they couldn't do it because of the difference in thickness of the wheel at the 10 and 3 o'clock positions.

I love my 13 wheel. The previous ones look like a well....Taurus steering wheel :)

oh but mine is a PP wheel also with the upgrade suede inserts of course ha ha

It is and it isn't.  The opening appears to be the same shape.  The Taurus wheel has the closure at the bottom that the Lincoln wheel doesn't.  I wonder if the airbag would fit in that opening?  The Flex wheel looks like a no brainer, but only has brown wood?

My son has a 2010 MKS.  The steering wheel is much improved over similar year model Taurus.  Do you plan one with the wood inlay?... you might consider a '13-'14 Taurus wheel... I love the control location.

I'd get the dark wood from the Lincoln.  I'm not a fan of the newer corporate wheel.  It's the same as the Explorer.  I like the location of controls better on the Taurus.
