My Touch keeps losing dim settings.

Anyone elses My Touch screen lose their dimming settings?  I'll get it just right.  Then the next time I drive at night the screen is bright as hell again.  I have to go back in and manually put it in night mode then to auto.

I've already tried resetting it but other than that I can't do much because I have added nav from pimods.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 15 min to reset the system?

You can do anything you want with it except have the dealer reprogram it.

Is it running version 3.8?

I checked my records and it should be 3.8.  I will try what your doing in my explorer and see if it behaves the same.

I'v had mine since last June and has been working Flawlessly in every Dept,not sure if its because i installed it myself but no glitches or any issues of any kind.  Z

You can do anything you want to it and not lose NAV if done properly.  It makes no difference if it came without or without NAV from the factory.  The issue is when the DEALER does its DEALER ONLY process on it.
