Greetings fellow enthusiasts.  My name is Steve 35 year old lifetime car fanatic, brand spanking new to the ecoboost scene.  Last car I built was a turbo Honda in my younger years (save your flames) that I used in car shows to much success.  Well I grown I bit since then and now am the proud owner of 2013 fully optioned MKS.  Awesome car, best I have owned by far.  The mod bug has bit me and I am trying to fight the symptoms being the car is so new, warranty and such.  Not sure how long I could hold out. I hope to amass is much knowledge first before I make my choices.  Great site here I hope to be an asset.

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F Steve, please post some pics of the new ride when you have a chance, and any questions you may have always feel free to ask and best of luck .Z. and if you have trouble with that bug just let me know, the biggest bang for your buck will be adding a tune.

Welcome, Steve, to our EB corner of the world, glad to see you and your '13 MKS here!  Once you get into a "comfort zone" with the car, what mods are you looking to do?  Performance mods (primarily engine) are listed here:

Besides those, there's H&R springs for the suspension (coilovers still in the wings), lighting upgrades, audio systems, and of course, paint/wheel protection/upgrade :)

Throw up some pics of your rides new & old!

Thanks for the welcome.  Im not sure how the H&R springs will mix with the adaptive suspension my car has.  I do want a tune seems LMS or Unleashed is the way to go.  Just want to feel confident before i flush my warranty.  The car only has 20k on it.  Im trying to put pics but its keeps saying file to large.

The adaptive suspension has three settings: comfort which is a complete boat to drive the car just plows through tuns, normal which is cool for around town,  and sport where the real fun begins sport rocks you can feel the difference and the torque vectoring around curves.

Good question about the H&R and adaptive suspension.  I believe a few members on this forum are sporting the H&Rs on the MKS?

Welcome aboard. Nice looking MKS you have there. Hang around here to long and that mod bug will bite you sooner than expected. It's not a bad thing, they drive so much better with a tune. That sloppy, slow like molasses type of shifting will be gone.

Best of luck with the eco, be sure to keep us posted on the venture.

Downpipes help the v-tec kick in....oops, I mean turbos spool up sooner...had to sorry...lol

Honestly Md that was my favorite part of the car the "sleeperness" plus it was hard to find a fully optioned SHO.  I see you have a MKS and it looks lowered.  Any suspension problems with the adaptive shocks?

Suspension is completely stock, I think the MKS just looks lower due to the style. No problems with the suspension components themselves, more so a problem with the Michigan potholes!
