Recently picked up a 2014 Tuxedo Black SHO with 54,000 on the dial.
Absolutely love the car so far and may even go so far to say that it may be faster than my old '07 STi! :)
Only mod so far is a full exhaust.....haven't even been under yet to see what make it is!
As well as an AIRAID intake.

Looking forward to learning more about this car

Here are my rides minus the couple that aren't worth pics. LOL

Thank you.  Currently scrolling through past posts to orient myself before asking a couple nagging questions.

Welcome to EBPF, and congrats on the '14 SHO, thmullan!  How long does it take you to wash & wax the White Beauty?

Thank you.  The 300 doesn't take too long actually.....I am hoping to have her repainted in the next few years to a nice pearl white like my CBR.

Welcome aboard the EBPF thmullan and Definitely great looking SHO with the blacked out accent gives it a nice touch of appeal to it and best of luck.  Z  :WELCOME:

They would make quite the pair!

Thank you. Its a poorly done Plasti-dip by the previous owner that I need to address.  I love it blacked out, I just need to decide if I want to re-do the dip or have it painted or wrapped.  I have a couple surface rust spots on the roof that I also need to address, so I may just have it all done at the same time.

Sweet collection there! I see that you may have a few concerns, if there is anything that we can help you out with please let us know.

Thank you.  It is a fun collection, for sure. :)

I am currently trying to get the dealer to clear a CEL for me that keeps getting thrown due to the exhaust.
I know very little about tuning, so I am reliant on them at this point to figure it out so that I can use my remote start come winter time.  Ideally I''ll set myself up at some point with a tuning setup so that I can address some things on my own.

The last turbo I owned was an '07 STi and she was bone stock until the day I sold it........well until the divorce took it!  Lol

If you get a chance, get us a picture of the down pipes.  The fact you are getting a code, I'm guessing from converters operating outside of threshold, tells me you probably have high flow/race style catalytic converters or no cat's at all.

If that's the case, there is nothing the dealer can do to fix the CEL short of replacing the down pipes with factory equipment.

Do you have emission testing where you live?  If not, your best bet would be to get a tune and have the rear O2's turned off.  If you do have testing, you should get in touch with the original owner, maybe through the dealership, and get a hold of the factory down pipes.

I'll get a picture later today.  The only info I was given by the dealership is that it was a full exhaust which leads me to believe that the cats have been removed or replaced.  I've been working out of town as of late and haven't had time to get under the car yet to really see whats going on.  I may try and get a hold of the original owner and see if he has the original down pipes.
We don't have emissions testing here so I will be good to go on that front but I hate the CEL and not being able to use the remote start.

A CEL blocks out the ability to remote start?  Or, is that a separate problem?

Good about the emissions testing.  Under those circumstances, I would not worry too much about the CEL.  Just get a good tune from a reputable source like LME, Unleashed, LET, etc and have them turn off the rear O2's.

The dealer can reset the codes, but the CEL will come back regardless of what they do short of replacing your aftermarket DP's with the factory ones.  And you don't want that :)

Having a CEL does indeed prevent the remote start from operating.
No tuners where I live but there are a number of them less than two hours away......just need to find a reputable one in the Edmonton area.
