Just traded in my 2013 Flex SEL this past weekend for a 2014 Flex Limited EB AWD.  I'm in love!!    It already had the upgraded Magnaflow exhaust system installed, so that was a nice perk.  Plus the tint was already done all the way around so that saves me some money too!  Got it under book value so that was the icing on the cake!

What. A. Power. Difference!  Seriously, from my NA to this EB is a night and day difference in power, and I want more!  I just converted it to VTA last night and love the new BOV sounds coming from under the hood.  It's not obnoxious by any means, but enough to let others know this isn't a slow brick.  I have an Airaid Intake on the way to be delivered tomorrow as well as some VentShade window visors coming in today.  I already hard wired in my radar detector and installed my Kicker Hideaway sub last night.  I'll be hitting up Unleashed soon for the T-Stat, 3-bar, and a VCT with Torrie's tune to really unleash this engine.  I am damn proud of this beauty!

Looks good in red :thumb:  Welcome to the EB community, djxf, and glad to have you on here.  Good solid choice of upgrades, and you are set with the turboback, bonus!  Just be sure the Airaid seals against the hood to make it perform like it is supposed to.  Def build in some downpipes to get the airflow going real good.

Post up some pics of your Kicker install plz.

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F djxfactor and awesome looking FLEX you have there and Definitely love the RED and certainly something to feel proud of and best of luck with the new ride.  Z  :WELCOME: BTW if your looking for any MODS you can always speak to Mike.B which is a vendor here and which  had the fastest FLEX around these parts at www.ecopowerparts.com:)

Very cool. Looks like we are twins with the red/black, but mine is a '13. Seeing yours now REALLY has me ready to delete the rails and tint the fronts.

All these red and black Flexes are coming out of nowhere. Good looking ride. Time for me to talk the wife into getting one. :P Welcome to the forums!

So I figured I'd update this post with how much I've took off running with this car LOL.  Kinda got the bug to mod (as I do with pretty much every car I own) and went overboard in the course of roughly two month's time.  Since purchase I have now installed from it being a stock Flex...

- Airaid Intake
- AVS Ventshades
- Stubby Antenna
- Kicker Hideaway 11HS8 Sub
- SCT X4 Tuner w/ Unleashed 93 & 87 custom tunes
- 170 T-stat
- 3-Bar MAP
- NGK Colder Plugs
- UPR Catch Can System
- Dropped it on H&R Springs

This thing is fast!  Like, slip the tires into 2nd gear fast...and I haven't even gotten a tune revision yet!  Took it to the track (local 1/8th mile) and 'wowed' a lot of people.  I plan on hitting the track again on Sunday to get some logging done and see what else Torrie can pull out of this engine.  Needless to say, I'm in love, and have the bug to keep upgrading!  This thing offers the best of all the worlds.  Something I can haul my three kids around with, enough cargo space to fit all my mobile DJ equipment into for my weekly gigs, the ability to tow my trailer, and I can still have an absolute blast driving it around like a madman and hit the track with respectable times.  Next on the want list is a set of downpipes, and eventually I'd like to look into adding a watermeth kit.  Here's a few pics of it after I finished the spring install this past weekend (also posted these over in the suspension area, but this is a nice little "running record" post for all my mods as I install them!)

Well, there goes the stealth factor LOL!  Thats the great thing about these vehicles, they have a multiple personality,  in a good way :)

Has the catch can been productive yet?

Yeahhh, I kinda threw the stealth right out the window! The personality factor is why I love these bricks so much.  They're utterly unique, can be modded to great lengths, and always raise an eyebrow in a crowd.

I honestly haven't checked the can yet.  I plan to check it Saturday or Sunday before I get out to the track to see if its been productive at all.  I read up so much on it before making the purchase, and the general consensus lead me to believe that even if it only pulls out a small amount, the insurance it provides against nastiness in the engine and preventing further potential valve coking was worth it to me.  I'll definitely follow up this weekend after I check the can!

If you don't get much out don't be discouraged, it didn't pull much in the warmer months.
Once the temp drops then you'll start seeing results.

Good to know!

Btw, I'm more excited for the temps to drop for more BOOST!!  :drive:
