3x Super Duty diesels in a row, decided my 15 mile round trip and towing 10K at most 2 times a year would better match the EB
Ended up with a new 2013 4x4 EB F150 Limited, 3.73s
Honestly a bit nervous after all the big trucks, but tons of Youtube vids make me feel a bit better. I was on the fence with 6.2 or EB, but in the end, I think the mileage of the EB will win me over
Longtime Ford guy here, very experienced engine builder and EEC-IV home tuner. I also have a restored 71 F100 4x4 SB with a carbed 445 stroker, and a 70 Mustang fastback with a 489 cid FE stroker with EEC-IV EFI, alum heads, and all the hot rod goodies.
Game plan is for the EB to stay pretty much stock except for a nice SoCal tune. I don't like the soft throttle response and want it to shift a little harder, noticed that in the first 10 miles of a test drive
