New LED light tubes/DRLs for your Taurus!

i just bought some of these and had a question, is it easy to wire up and have it using the switchback vs just a running light?  is it just another wire you need to run to the turn signals or just in the programming or what?

Just ordered a set of these for my '14 SHO, looks like a nice product.  What I'm not sure of though, what are the different powering options? I've read some of the wiring is optional?
