Greetings everyone, new member from Cleveland here. Just picked up a 2016 MKZ 2.0 Ecoboost. Still researching everything and stumbled on to here. Been working on cars most of my life, namely Honda's and other sport compacts but this is the wife and mines first new car... Felt we deserved something nice. Knew nothing about and figured I couldn't do anything to it. Well then I started to look in to it and... Here I am. Whole list of ideas and I've never had a factory turbo car let alone something with this much potential. And eventually the wife will start talking to me again

Welcome. Enjoy. Good luck trying to avoid being bitten by moditis. It can be damn near debilitating since Ford/Mercury left so much on the table with these platforms.

My wife can't say anything more about what I do.  I officially gave her the title of Ex-Wife.  Now I have all the toys, along with peace and quiet.

She just likes to give me grief about it. I'm the one making the payment and she gets to drive it all the time while I'm away at work so she has to save face somehow lol. The only thing she's serious about is " Don't make it so I can't drive it " I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Be careful, these cars can get out of hand in the modding.  All of a sudden you are 5k in and you literally have a HOT ROD LINCOLN that she may be scared to drive.
