New Shoes on MKS-T, TPMS Question

so I scored a set of TSW Jarama 20x8.5 40ET really cheap ($270 for all 4) and wrapped them in Nitro Motivo 245/45/20 rubber. I'm still trying to let the look grow on me but meanwhile having a hard time getting this thing into learn mode for TPMS so I can reset with the tool. Any tips on doing so ?

I had to replace a band sensor and tried taking it to a tire shop with no luck, took it to the dealer and it took them forever to get it in the learn mode too because of the push button on/off switch. It had the Goldie Locks syndrome, not too slow/ not to fast.

Do you have push-button start or a traditional keyed ignition?

To enter training mode:
- Ignition off, press/release brake pedal.
- Foot OFF brake, cycle ignition 3x stopping with ignition on. (Off, accy, ign; off, accy, ign; off, accy, ign)
- Press/release brake pedal
- Foot OFF brake, cycle ignition 3x stopping with ignition on.
- Horn will honk once and display a message to train Left Front tire.
