New to forum, not new to ecoboost

Recently purchased a 2012 MKS Ecoboost after trading my 2012 Harley truck. I've previously owned a 2011 SHO with lots of performance parts. I've truly missed the Ecoboost community and blew way more money than I intended last night on my new toy.  Wife is going to kill me. Anyways without further adew here are some pics

Welcome!  Wondered what happened to you...  Was thinking about whether you moved back to Louisville or stayed in Chicago the other day.
 
Welcome back to the Eco family there Greg!

For those of you that don't know, Taurusbuilder works for FMC and used to be assigned/stationed at the CAP (Chicago Assembly Plant). He helped build the Taurus and the SHO.

He was transferred back to his hometown origins in KY. He's still employed with FMC, but I forgot which vehicle's he's now assembling.

Super cool dude, and don't let him fool you. No matter which vehicle he personally owns, the mod bug always bites him hard.

I think Greg was one of the 1st Taurus owners I know of, that had his textured plastic lower cladding painted all the way around. He inspired me to have mine done.

So hat's off to you Greg for rejoining your long lost family.

We welcome you back with open arms and I'm loving your new MKS. :ok:

I was at a wrestling tourney and received the order so I hadn't see this thread yet.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Mike is right. I still work for ford. Currently at Louisville Assembly plant where we make the ford Escape and the soon to be released Lincoln MKC. I always say I'm not going to go overboard but... That's out the window. Waking up this morning I realized I want the fastest MKS. Period!!! Let the games begin

So.. how does the MKS compare to your SHO??? I have close friends that have MKS'.... one with EB and a really low mile one without.  Both Pearl like yours.. Great lookers!

Surprise to see the Hennessy CAI in your shopping list. I would like to know the reason you chose it?

It's pretty much the same. Only I have a few more features that weren't available for the Taurus at that time. Things like active headlights, power adjustable steering wheel, park assist, and so on. I'm sure the SHO has it now.  I'm also going to enjoy the free service.  I went to the Lincoln dealer near my house to pick up my truck mat and cargo organizer, they have a whole Lincoln waiting section. Has free drinks and chips. Who knew!

I chose the Hennessy this round just cause I liked the look of it. The AirRaid leaves something to be desired and looks incomplete. Even though it's proven to work. Wish I had asked mike previous to my purchase, I didn't know he was trying to mass produce a look-a-like. I might have waited.
