Newb from D/FW. (2015 SHO, PPE)

Yup, I'm an ecoboost noob. Live near DFW, Aledo specifically, and while I have owned a Ford nearly all my life, this is my first non-naturally aspirated vehicle. My previous daily/track whore is a 2000 Mustang GT that I caged and modified for road racing/autocross and loved it. But, a cage, stiff suspension, and near open exhaust, are not conducive when you're raising a young family. So, the 2015 SHO PP below was added to the stable. I'm in the process of creating a strategy for making this car my own. (I'm a bit OCD and have to spreadsheet these things out.)

Welcome!  :WELCOME:

You'll love the car! ... Looking forward to seeing you mod the big girl. I started with DPs for improved low end and then a tune.

Thanks guys. Any ecoboost fans attend Cars & Coffee? I would like to put a few forum names to faces and I've found I always learn a ton. (Better to learn from others, than repeat their mistakes.;))

Thanks. You guys have literally cornered the market on these cars. Congrats! I applaud the effort. In a past life I lived in Indianapolis and was exposed to the effort of an aftermarket company trying to corner the "New Edge" Mustang market back in '99. NOT an easy task for a new platform. Glad to see someone got it right. I'm sure I'll be throwing money your way at some time in the future. I just wished you guys had a D/FW location! Would you happen to be able to provide a reference for a reputable shop down here? (I have no problem turning wrenches, but dyno and tuning aren't things I'll take on. :))

Oh, I'm sure that's a universal "thing" at C&C. However, since there isn't a dedicated DFW SHO club, I'm assuming C&C is about the next best thing. Even if the SHO is the parts getter for the "other half".

(I'd love to be wrong about the DFW SHO club...)

Great lookn' SHO, I never see sterling when I see another SHO every couple months or so lol.

Tune, full exhaust, intake and you'll be doing mid/high 12s and around 4 seconds for 0-60mph all day long.  Not bad for a boat!

I rescued my SHO from Sewell Cadillac over a year ago, some guy traded in with 5500 miles for a new ATS.  Flew down to Dallas at night and drove it all the way back to Colorado the next day.  Was a great trip!

Thanks guys. I'll check out the FB group [Edit: Just applied. :)]. I'm more of a road course/autox guy. BUT, I do like the option for a 12s 1/4 for those "emergency" on ramp romps. :)
