Hey everyone, my name is Daniel and I just got my hands on a 2010 taurus sho. Not new to performance cars,  it all I've really ever owned but new to the Ford side of things so I'm excited to learn more about the car what people have done to make these faster. Look forward to talk to you all.

Welcome Daniel,

Congrats on the new SHO and you will love it! The Tune is a beat bang for your buck mod and it's impressive to see what these cars can do with just a tune! Livernoise and unleashed tuning are great and you won't go wrong with either one!

Welcome and congrats!

Welcome to the forum.. Im from northern colorado myself and your 2nd new owner from colorado this week to join. We can now get a SHO mafia going. I plan on going to bandi one the wednesday night test and tune.

Tune rock.. Current offering are Torrie from Unleashed and Livernois Motor Sports.. They both have there following and both have a good record and happy custormer.

though Cobb and HP tuning is rummored to be coming soon.

Welcome to EBPF Daniel!!
:WELCOME:
Glad you're here!

You'll love the SHO... Most interesting thing to work with are the torque based Ecoboost algorithms in the ECU.

Great community here.  Looking forward to youyr input.

Thanks everyone for the  awesome  welcome. A tune sounds like a must. Had the same experience with my g8, great cars from stock but beast as soon as they are tuned.  I know everyone is different but is one tune preferred over others for these cars? I know Livernoise is a  big one with the gm guys.

Welcome! And trust me when I say you will love your SHO. Great bunch of helpful guys here, they have helped me a lot!

:WELCOME: Glad you've joined us! Hope you enjoy the car and your time here.  I have always had performance cars until I got married and they turned into minivans... :(

Yep, the mod bug is additive. I can not think of any car i have ownd that i have ever left alone ha. From the looks of some of the mod list i'm seeing it seems like i'll have plenty to look forward to with this car, well once i get the tsb for the tranmission slipping taken car of. Does anyone know if getting a custom tune done fixes the slipping since shift points are changed or does it need the valve separator plate installed that fixes the issue on the stock tune?
