No Ecoboost yet

I'm looking to pick up an MKS ecoboost in the next couple weeks.  Right now I daily drive an 06 Saab 9-3 Aero and my toy is a 92 GMC Typhoon that I'm always working on.

Welcome to the forum, ForcFed, glad to have you here!  Hope you can find and grab that MKS EB fast :)  Pics of your other rides for now will have to do!  Build thread for your Typhoon?

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F partner, always loved the Typhoon and Syclone, had a 86 regal t-type which could relate, very fast and rare, and best of luck with the new ride and any questions you may have always feel free to ask.Z

Need to wait a few weeks to get the MKS just because we're closing on a refinance on our house.  Already have the mods planned out, downpipes and tune for sure, just haven't decided on if I'm going to go with meth injection also.  I've run it on a previous Typhoon and Syclone but haven't done much research on how the ecoboosts take to it yet.  I'm in Az so it really helps though.  I even have a Snow Performance progressive kit sitting in my garage that I was going to use on my Ty (going E-85 now though).

Typhoon was bought as a project out of Michigan, built motor, built trans (still a 700r4 though, so it won't last), 3600 stall, decent size turbo (pte 63, want to run a 76 though), front mount A/A IC, and the aforementioned E-85.  Converting to a stand alone engine management system right now.  Once I get it put back together I should be around 500 at the crank.  Once I get the heads, turbo, and intake manifold addressed I should get to about 700-800 at the crank.

Now that's power worthy of the Typhoon name!  EBs take well to methanol injection, many examples of them on this forum :)
