possible alignment issue

Im noticing torque steer has been getting worse and ive always found the car had a little bump steer when i would hit grooves in a road or whatever but now its getting quite a bit worse. Ive heard of people on here that had alignment issues and there wheel is still straight and it was hard to tell. Did you guys have any of these problems? im thinking just get a mechanic to look over the steering components.

Run your hand forwards and backwards over the outside edge of each tire. Any sharp edges? Irregular wear? Cupping?  That's how/where alignment issues usually show up first.

Two things I've found in mine. First my torque steer varies a little but it's always more noticeable when the car is running particularly well so I've come to appreciate the feeling a bit. Second I know that on feeling the tires for sharp tread edges that a side to side motion that discovers sharp edges means "toe" wear and I don't think there is any faster way to wear out a tire.....well except for smoking them. If sharp edges are felt going front to back it would indicate a "load" wear and that would be kept in check by an X pattern rotation as long as your tires are not directional. I don't think that "load" wear is very aggressive though so nothing to worry about. Cupping is discouraged I believe by rotation and balance. Of course loose parts especially tie rods, or alignments done by incompetents are always something I worry about.
